At Impact One Initiative, we believe a key part of education is fostering relationships: encouraging teamwork and creating an environment where students and teachers can thrive together. This month, we witnessed a heartwarming collaboration between our partner schools, Ng’ombe Jubilee and Winning Ways (Chikondano Network).
They held an academic quiz to motivate seventh-grade students to work hard and learn from one another. The impact of this collaboration extended far beyond the quiz itself; it brought students together and allowed teachers to bond in a way they had never experienced before.
"We were able to know each other more," said Teacher Emelia. "We just see each other at Impact One Programs, but our relationship has grown." The quiz was not just about sharing knowledge; it was also about building connections, forming friendships, and creating a support network that goes beyond the classroom.
As the quiz unfolded, it was evident that the pupils had a great time. They not only displayed their competitive sides but also had the opportunity to interact with peers from a different school. This interaction wasn't just limited to answering questions: it spilled into laughter, shared experiences, and newfound friendships. At the end of the quiz, students walked away with some well-deserved prizes to recognize their hard work and dedication.
At Impact One, we believe in the power of networking and collaboration. We understand that education is not a solo journey but a collective effort. The quiz event between Ng’ombe Jubilee and Winning Ways is an example of what can be achieved when schools come together for a common goal. We look forward to seeing more schools embrace the spirit of collaboration and partnership.
